Things to include in your abstract submission:

  • Title

  • Authors and affiliation 

  • Abstract content

Word Limits

  • Title – maximum 15 words

  • Abstract - maximum 250 words

Oral Presentations:

If you are selected for an oral presentation, you will be allocated a slot in the programme.

Posters:

If selected for a poster presentation you will be required to display a poster, A0 size in portrait orientation.  Posters will be on display in the exhibition hall for the duration of the conference. You will also be asked to provide an electronic PDF version of your poster for

display on the online platform.

Please remember: If accepted for an oral presentation or poster display, the presenting author must register to attend conference and is expected to attend in-person.  

Abstract Submission Dates
Abstract Submissions Open 26 February 2025
Abstract Submissions Close 11 April 2025
Notification of Review Outcome Week commencing 28 April 2025
Abstract Presenter Registration Deadline 5 May 2025

As a reminder, the terms & conditions of submission are:

Throughout the abstract submission process, communication will be limited to a single designated contact. This individual is presumed to be the presenting author and will receive all correspondence. You have therefore stated that they are the presenting author as part of your submission. If the presenting author changes, the replacement presenter must be a named author on the original submission.

Once submitted abstract content cannot be amended.

The abstract must not have been presented at another conference.

If abstract is accepted, the presenting author must register to the conference and will be liable for the applicable full delegate fee.

Last date for submission is 11th April 2025.

All named authors must be aware of the submission.

Submissions of the abstract constitutes the consent of all authors to publication on the Conference Website, Journal of Cardiothoracic Surgery, other promotions, etc.

The presenting author (as indicated on the submission) will be notified of the decision of the judging panel around 28th April 2025.

The decision of the panel is final.

Poster presenters will be asked to provide a PDF of their posters in advance of conference.
